Endings & Beginnings

First of all Happy New Year! I didn't stay up to see the new year in as I'd had a pretty big day New Years Eve. In fact I was at a funeral, It was for a man who had been in our family's lives since before I was born and like so many others we all know, he was taken by cancer before his time. He passed away on Christmas Eve and was laid to rest on the last day of 2010. It was a very sad ending and let's face it funerals are never a happy event, but it does get you thinking about the best way to spend your own life. I guess in essence that's what New Years Resolutions are all about. I have lots of exciting things happening both in my business and my personal life this year and one of my resolutions is to be grateful, so I have started a gratitude journal. The other resolution I have this year is to try and enjoy everyday in the moment, like so many people I am often living in the "tomorrow" the "next Month" or even the "next year". As John Lennon said "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". Happy 2011!!

Red Revival's last market for 2010

Where has the year gone? Well here we are nearly at Christmas and I don't know about you but I still have a few more sneaky Chrissy pressies to buy. But where oh where can we find just the perfect gift? I hear you say?? Well pop on down for some BrisStyle goodness at King George Square and surrounds on Friday night. I'll be there with some new designs like these little origami birds, see you there!!
